Health & Safety are our top priorities. Our operatives undergo in-house training in the Vivid method of application, ensuring consistency and adherence to strict safety protocols. Senior Managers, trained in SMSTS and SSSTS, and our in-house NEBOSH trained Health and Safety manager maintain a safe working environment across all projects.

All our operatives on site have certificates in:

Commercial Director, overseeing the financial and estimating department and dealing with queries within these departments.

Negotiating funding solutions and contracts to enable the company to grow with stability. Great to see a project from start to finish with all the support of the Vivid team

What role do you play within the team, and what are your main responsibilities?

John is an asset to Vivid family with a wealth of knowledge in the construction industry. John joined Vivid in 2018 as a senior contracts manager and has since progressed into the contract director role, where he heads up the operational department. His key responsibilities are making sure he and his team manage projects smoothly and efficiently, managing clients expectations and maintaining relationships.

What role do you play within the team, and what are your main responsibilities?

Head of the estimating department. Managing the workload and ensuring projects are priced as accurately as possible with the information provided and deadlines given. Keep track of secured projects by holding weekly catch up meetings wtih estimators & operations team. Build and maintain relationships with clients.

Could you highlight a memorable project or achievement you’ve been a part of with the team?

Memorable project: Heythrop. Growing the estimating team and helping to secure some great projects, which helps in growing the company

What role do you play within the team, and what are your main responsibilities?

Measuring and pricing jobs along with the other estimators, often visiting sites to ensure our costs are as accurate as they can be. Weekly follow ups with clients to see if projects have been secured and how we can secure our costs for the projects.

Could you highlight a memorable project or achievement you’ve been a part of with the team?

Memorable project: Eversholt Street, my first big win Starting at Vivid as an apprentice and now becoming an Estimator

What role do you play within the team, and what are your main responsibilities?
Measure and pricing tenders. Attending site visits and trying to build and maintain working relationships with clients. Following up on submitted tenders to try and win projects.

Michael Rodrigues

Finance Director

What role do you play within the team, and what are your main responsibilities?

To oversee the accounts functions within the business. Monitoring the financial health of the company by running regular reports like forecasts, cashflows, P&Ls etc.Analysing all data available to try to maximise profitability and support long term growth

Could you highlight a memorable project or achievement you’ve been a part of with the team?

Retention spreadsheet. When I first joined the biggest problem accounts had was working out a way to monitor retentions and chase them at appropriate times. I’ve built a formulated spreadsheet which alerts us when retention needs to be raised which makes the process much more manageable.

Scott is a senior contracts manager with extensive knowledge of on site spraying and 20+ years of experince in the construction industry managing multiple projects,maintaining client relationships and securing new works

Set up all new tender enquiries onto the vivid system. Update any changes or revised drawings, which will help the estimating team to price. Build relationships with all new and exsiting client.

Dan has recently joined the operations team his role is to make sure jobs are run on budget on time whilst maintaining and expanding client relations.

What role do you play within the team, and what are your main responsibilities?

Ordering supplies and hire equipment to our sites. Uploading all invoices to our system and managing queries.

Could you highlight a memorable project or achievement you’ve been a part of with the team?

I have helped to implement PO procedure for invoices. my job role has steadily gotten busier with new staff starting to keep up with demand… its been good to see vivid do well and grow.

Procurement & Accounts Assistant

What role do you play within the team, and what are your main responsibilities?

Emily is our Procurement Manager and her responsibility is to oversee the department as well as handle day to day activities such as: ordering materials; manage equipment on hire & plan materials needed for upcoming jobs

Could you highlight a memorable project or achievement you’ve been a part of with the team?

Emily has helped implement a template which operatives can use when placing orders. We have found that we waste a lot of time liaising with suppliers when we dont have all necessary information. Emily has made a template which ensures operatives address all details on their order which reduces wasted time for those on site and the office team

Accurateley, measuring and pricing jobs. Undertaking site visits for clients and trying to secure work. Recently made the move from New Zealand over to the UK

Managing health and safety on Vivid Finishes sites, Evaluating potential hazards and implementing safety protocols to protect our decorators on site!

What role do you play within the team, and what are your main responsibilities?

Molly is our Office & Project Support Manager, working alongside Demi in the projects department. Supporting the Operations team with all admin tasks for all projects.

Molly’s biggest achievement is becoming Office Manager, this shows all the progress made since joining in 2017 as admin apprentice.
